Q1: What is an APC vehicle, and how does it differ from a SWAT vehicle?

APC stands for Armored Personnel Carrier. It’s an armored truck or van used to transport people and equipment in combat zones. SWAT stands for Special Weapons and Tactics, and a SWAT vehicle can be an unarmored truck or van. SWAT is often used as a generic term for tactical police units.

The Alpine Armoring CUDA® APC weighs around 4,000 kg when armored to Level A9/B6+, the POINTER® Van weighs about 5,500kg at Level A9/B6+, and our Pit-Bull® weighs around 9,500 kg when armored to Level A12/B7.

Once the vehicle is completed and ready for delivery, shipping time will vary depending on the final destination and method of transport. Domestic US shipping can take 1-5 days, and international shipping via ocean can take several months.
