Armored to Alpine Level A9 (Level B6+), this bulletproof Ford Explorer SUV has been modified and reinforced with laboratory-tested, certified ballistic armor plating and bullet-resistant glass that provides protection against AR-15 and many other high-power rifles including 7.62 x 39, 7.62 x 51, 5.56 x 45, and M80 ball rounds, as well as floor protection against two (2) DM51 hand grenades.
